Testimonials

"In mid-2021 I realized that between the lack of travel during the pandemic and switching to work from home, my stamina was severely impacted. After talking with Pita, I started doing chair yoga with her once a week and it has been amazing for me. I had been hesitant because my knees are not good, but I was worried for no reason. Pita is incredibly mindful of her students’ capabilities and tailors her lessons to their limits and their strengths. Working with her has made me feel capable, helped rebuild my stamina, and help me push towards improving my health and strength even more. I highly recommend Pita as a yoga instructor to anyone of any level of experience or ability. "

"Friends, If you’re looking for online yoga classes I want to recommend you to consider booking class with Pepita Mardeusz. 🧘‍♀️ She was my instructor for in person classes and in the past month I have been having online classes with her over Zoom. 👩‍🏫 All the different stretches really helped with my hips and knees tightness and the guided meditation has made me more focused and calmer. ☮️ It felt great to restart my practice 😌 Pita’s classes are very thoughtful and organized in a way that you can find your level of comfort and work from there. 📈 Namaste "

-Sandra, Yoga Practitioner

"My name is Paul and I have been a student of Pepita’s Energizing Hatha Yoga Online classes now for nearly 4 years. When I started, I was completely new to Yoga. My worry was doing it ‘wrong’ or accidentally straining my back, muscles, etc. I found Pepita’s classes to be INCREDIBLY welcoming! With her very calm and gentle guidance I found that I was improving my flexibility, which was very exciting because I could SEE the improvement of what I was able to do as we went. She is very observant and cautious as she explains how to perform any particular pose. Always offering words of encouragement and how to leave the pose should it prove to be too uncomfortable. I would recommend her classes to anyone that felt, as I did, that they wouldn’t be able to do Yoga, or it would be too complex. Her calm pleasant demeanor and tone, combined with her VAST knowledge of Yoga make my classes with her the high point of my week!"

About Me

Pita began practicing yoga in 2001.  It was the beginning of an era for her because yoga helped connect herself to her body, mind and spirit like nothing else could. It helped transform and empower her in ways she never thought possible. She completed her RYT-200 and has been bringing yoga and its blessings to others since January 2015. In August 2019, she completed a 50-hour yin yoga training program.

Pita enjoys learning and teaching about the spiritual and physical aspects of yoga. In her classes, she weaves creative sequencing, a dose of inspiration and a bit of playfulness to help deepen her student's practices.  Her wish is to help others thrive and nurture their bodies, minds and souls so that students can step off their mats feeling refreshed, balanced, and nourished.

"Yoga bridges that which is not separate--the body, the mind and the soul." ~Pita

Frequently asked questions

Absolutely! I design my classes to include a variety of modifications and variations so that students of all levels can experience and deepen their yoga practice. I do that because I firmly believe in establishing a strong foundation when building a yoga practice. I also believe in empowering students to experience how they are feeling within their own bodies and recognizing where they are with their abilities and limitations.
Of course! That may be the best reason to practice yoga, though it isn't the only reason yoga is beneficial to the body. Sure, you can increase your flexibility by establishing a regular yoga practice, but you are also building strength, endurance and stamina. Not to mention the stress relief and mental clarity that you may experience.
You don't have to try and squeeze a 1-hour class at a studio into your day. In fact, I think yoga is more effective when you can easily work it into your schedule in smaller increments. That is why I designed a series of bite-sized yoga videos that are on-demand so that you can access yoga whenever you can rather than trying to force yourself into someone else's schedule. My videos are also designed to accommodate all levels of experience.
